The Third International E.M.S CHAMPIONSHIP

Mr. Eli Bin the Director General and the management of MDA decided to dedicate this championship to the memory of Paramedic and Deputy Director of Training division the late Eli Nadler

Teams of Magen David Adom (MDA)-the Israel National EMS system-treat 500.000 cases annually, has a fleet of 600 regular ambulances and 150 intensive care units, 100 motorcycles and one helicopter.

• The previous Championships were organized in 2006 and 2008. The third E.M.S Championship is planned to be held on June 6th to 10th 2010 in the northern region of ISRAEL.
• The EMS competition will be on two levels -BLS and ALS.
• From MDA 11 BLS teams and 11 ALS Teams will participate. From the I.D.F 3-5 ALS Teams. We look forward to the participation of up to 22 teams from other countries.
• Each team from abroad will be staffed by three team members. ALS-Two ALS providers-Physician and Paramedic, Physician and nurse or two paramedics and one BLS -Medic/Driver. BLS-Two EMTs and one Medic/ Driver. Each team will have an equipped ambulance and an Israeli driver/translator.
• The official language for communication and translation will be ENGLISH.
• All the expenses for each team while they stay in ISRAEL will be paid by MDA, International flights not included.
