True Emergency Situations

The competition information


A single event

1. Sending an MDA participating team to true emergency situation will be decided upon only by the regional dispatcher and confirmed by the director of the competition in the region. The teams does not have authority to go to a true event on their own initiative.

2. The regional dispatch will send MDA's ALS ambulance participating in the competition only real emergencies, and there is no other possibility to reach the address. The dispatch will do it's utmost to limit the time of the crew missing from the competition. It is possible that as a result the crew will miss a station - than the crew will score an average grade of his team at the end of the competition.

3. An injury caused to a crew member should be notified immediately to the regional dispatch center. The ill/ injured will be treated and evacuated by a vehicle from the regular shift according to the possibilities. If, as a result, the crew will miss a station, the crew will score an average grade of his team at the end of the competition.

4. Teams from abroad are not be sent to true emergencies.


Mass Casualty

1. Dispatching the crews participating in the competition will be done only by a decision of the director of the competition in the region after consulting with the regional manager.
Teams who take part in the competition have no authority to go to the event on their own initiative

2. If the director in charge of the competition will decide on dispatching many teams from the competition to a mass casualty emergency event, the competition will be put on hold until the end of the event.

3. The director in charge of the competition will make the decision when to renew the competition on that day.

4. The teams from abroad will not be sent to a true emergency event.
